Tracy Weiner is Associate Director of the University of Chicago Writing Program. She teaches academic and professional writing to graduate and undergraduate students across academic disciplines, as well as to lawyers, doctors, and researchers. All of these writers are experts in their fields or in the process of becoming experts. They must therefore not only articulate their findings clearly, but explain why their findings are significant. She helps them communicate the value of their work to other experts, to the general public, and to funding agencies.
